You may have heard of J. Cole, you may have not, but you will. As the first artist signed to Jay-Z's label Roc Nation. Jay-Z said he signed Cole after hearing the track "Lights, Please" off of J. Cole's mixtape, The Come Up. After being signed, J. Cole appeared on Jay-Z's "A Star is Born" from The Blueprint 3 and proceeded to tour with Jay. Jermaine Cole was actually born in Germany but before the age of 1, he moved to Fayetteville, NC and graduated from St. John's University and graduated magna cum laude. He's currently gearing up to release Friday Night Lights on 11/12/2010 and he's also working on his debut album Cole World which is due out in February 2011. I don't have The Come Up but I did post his mixtapes The Warm Up (official) and The Blow Up (unofficial) which contains unreleased tracks from J. Cole.
