Richard Andrew, aka, Outasight is a singer/emcee from Yonkers, NY. Currently signed to Warner Bros. and awaiting his debut album's release, Outasight has been injecting his own soulful style into hip hop. He describes his music as "Engergetic hip hop mixed with melodic soul." Drawing influences from classic rock, soul, and hip hop, his sound is a fusing of genres representing the evolution of not only hip hop, but music in general. 2007 he released his first EP, Employee of the Year which booked him a few shows. It wasn't until 08's release, New York Radio, that he received widespread attention most notably from XXL and MTVu. In 2009, he signed to Warner Bros. and released his most successful album, Further, which was actually presented by Lifted Research Group (or LRG). His debut album titled, From here To Eternity, is currently awaiting release after being pushed back from Fall 2010 to a yet-to-be-disclosed date. Although I couldn't get the Employee Of The Year EP, I compiled his other 4 mixtapes/FreeLP's to introduce Outasight to those of you who have yet come across this talented act.
