Kendrick Lamar - Section.80 (Album) *Autographed Physical Copies AVAILABLE NOW*

Just found out today that LIMITED EDITION AUTOGRAPHED PHYSICAL COPIES of Section.80 are available now through TDE's website. For some of you, this may not mean much, but for me, this was HUGE news. So much so I had to type with way too many capital letters to express my excitement. Anyways, the link is below.

Common - Ghetto Dreams ft. Nas (Prod. By No I.D.)

This track is amazing. I never thought I'd hear Nas rap like this again. Had me feeling like "What year is this?" This will be off of Common's upcoming album "The Dreamer, The Believer" which was originally suppose to drop in June, but is now scheduled for a November release date. The best part, Nas gave it away via his SoundCloud.

Apollo Brown - Tao Te Ching (Video)

Truthfully, Apollo Brown's "Clouds" has to be one of the best instrumental albums I've ever heard. You can listen to it in full at Mello Music Group's BandCamp. Physical copies of "Clouds" are also available through Amazon.

The Airplane Boys - Gold Ribbons (Video x Audio)

Toronto duo, The Airplane Boys, released some visuals to accompany their track from their Where You've Been EP. Glad to see these TOTR Freshmen are doing well for themselves.

Rockie Fresh - Sour (Prod. By The Cartoonz)

New Rockie Fresh? Awesome. Rockie is getting ready to drop The Otherside Redux on 7/27/11 which I believe is different versions of tracks from "The Otherside" along with a few new tracks. can't wait to hear new Rockie Fresh music.

Drake - Marvin's Room (Video x Audio)

To be honest, I refused to buy "Thank Me Later" because I felt like it was a far-cry from the Drake we knew from "So Far Gone". "Take Care" on the other hand seems like everything a Drake album should be. Drake is definitely at his best when making "indie hip hop". I couldn't think of a better way to characterize it. It breaks your typical song structure, there is rapping, singing, interludes, no catchy hook; Drake seems to be reverting back to making music as an art form instead of making commercial friendly music.

Jordan - My Favorite Word

Vegas producer, Jordan, dropped a new track today. I swear, dude's beats just keep getting better and better. How is Kendrick Lamar not on a track like this? Chemical Egypt coming soon.

Kendrick Lamar - Section.80 (Album)

This week has been really busy for me with my 2 jobs (after today I will have worked 13 out of the last 14 days and a total of 110 hours in that time span) so I haven't had many opportunities to update TOTR. But today I happen to log on only to see that Kendrick Lamar dropped Section.80 and I knew I had to cop it. I hate buying from iTunes but I will always make the exception for new Kendrick Lamar. Make sure you cop it too.

Cocaine 80's - The Pursuit EP

Chicago producer, No I.D., has recently taking the reigns as the "Chemist" for the collective known as Cocaine 80's. Information on the members is pretty scarce right now but the list includes: Common, Steve Wyreman, Rob Kinelski, Kevin Randolph, James Fauntleroy, Makeba and many more. No I.D. has addressed the lack of information about the collective by stating, “Read The Credits and listen to the music and enjoy…”. FYI, Common totally killed "Summer Madness".
