Tory Lanez is an 18-year-old rapper/singer from Ontario, Canada and is signed to Sean Kingston's label, T.I.M.E. You may have heard of him earlier in 2010 when he proposed a $10k challenge to Drake where he promised Drake $10k if Drake listened to Tory's mixtape, and didn't like it. There was no word on whether or not the challenge was ever accepted or even acknowledged, but a brash move from a 17-year-old at the time. He even received the co-sign from hitmaker, Boi-1da on this mixtape. We'll have to stay tuned to Lanez in 2011 and see what else he has to offer. *Side note: Thank You Mama actually samples My Chemical Romance's Welcome To The Black Parade which I thought was pretty cool.
