Nouveau Riche was a Philadelphia indie-band led by songstress, Nikki Jean and Roots' emcee, Dice Raw. Although well-received, Nouveau Riche disolved with each member kind of doing their own thing. Jean is signed to Sony records and is hoping for a late spring release while Dice is still working with The Roots and now, Money Making Jam Boys. Other band members ended up joining Zoe Kravitz' band, Elevator Fight. Although it's unfortunate the group broke up before they could really get started, their short time together blessed us with two great EP's. These are from 2008 but trust me, they've stood the test of time. Enjoy.
